Four Points by Sheraton
Raleigh, Durham Airport
The Bitter Ender is one of the longest-running and most prestigious Advanced Squad Leader (ASL) tournaments in the world. Since 1989, players from across the country have come together for intense competition, strategic brilliance, and the camaraderie that defines the ASL community.

Whether you’re a seasoned veteran or just beginning your ASL journey, you’ll find a welcoming table at The Bitter Ender.
The tournament began in 1989 as Winds of War. In 1996, it was reborn as The Bitter Ender, a name that reflects both the spirit of the game and the tenacity of its players. For more than 30 years, The Bitter Ender has welcomed top-tier competitors and newcomers alike, becoming a cornerstone of the ASL tournament scene. With the exception of 2020 and 2021, the event has run continuously, making it the second-longest ASL tournament in the world.
